From Burnt-out to Breakthrough — CJ’s Story

Hey, I’m CJ — the founder of LoveTh!sBlog — and I want to share a little bit about how I got here, and why this space exists.

For most of my 20s, I worked in call center sales, grinding through long hours and eventually making it into management. I thought climbing the ladder meant security. But instead, I found burnout. So I moved into retail sales and management in my 30s — hoping things would be different. They weren’t.

In both careers, I watched my commissions vanish thanks to shifting policies and shady tactics. I was doing the work — but the rules always changed, and it always cost me. Over time, it started to feel like legalized theft. I realized I was building other people’s empires, not my own.

But I’d always been good with computers. I had been fixing them on the side for years — weekends, evenings, whenever I could. So eventually, I made the leap. I became a full-time freelance computer repair tech, finally working for myself. And for about ten years, it was going well.

Then COVID hit.

In what felt like the blink of an eye, everything I built was wiped out. The shutdowns, the fear, the isolation — it all took away my livelihood, my home, and nearly my hope. I thought that by being my own boss, I had secured my freedom — that no one could control my income but me.

But I had no idea that a system could still shut everything down and leave me with nothing.

🌿 Why This Blog Exists

I created LoveTh!sBlog because I never want to feel powerless like that again — and I don’t want you to either.

This blog is about building your own platform, your own voice, your own way to earn and grow online — with real ownership, real freedom, and no one pulling the rug out from under you. Whether you’re just starting out or rebuilding from scratch, this is your space to create without limits.

I believe that humans and nature — and yes, even tech — can work together to build something better. Something more honest. More real. More yours.

This is my story. Now it’s time to write yours.

🔧 Starting With Nothing But a Will to Learn

When I started building LoveTh!sBlog, I had no web design experience. I wasn’t a digital marketing expert. I knew how to fix computers, set up networks, and troubleshoot tech — but not how to build a blog from scratch.

So I decided to start like anyone else would: completely from the ground up.

What you see here isn’t the work of some professional agency or seasoned coder — it’s just me, figuring things out one step at a time. I’m learning as I go, and I’m going to show you every part of the journey. That means sharing tools, tips, mistakes, wins, and the actual process I’m using to build this from nothing into something real.

If you feel like you don’t have the skills or background to do this, I want you to know: you absolutely can. I’m doing it, and you can too.
